Mulched leaves overwinter on lawn? #947234

Is it OK to leave mulched tree leaves on our lawn over winter?

Hi Gary, 

Yes, you can absolutely do that as long as the leaves are mulched well (on the finer side as opposed to big chunks). Be sure to avoid layering the mulched leaves too heavily as that will tend to trap moisture on the lawn, which can cause disease issues, like snow mold that you won't see until spring but you definitely don't want that.
