Arborvitea yellowing #946829

Asked October 09, 2026, 2:36 PM EDT

We planted several arborvitea this spring and have noticed quite a bit of yellowing/orange of new growth on the interior. One of the trees is in a low area that I believe is too wet and is showing yellowing. Is this due to transplant shock, over/under watering, or something else? Should we remove the yellow/orange growth. Is there anythign we should do over the winter or to correct this? Overall the trees look healthy, other than this development.
