lime or calcium #942910

Asked August 19, 2026, 3:39 PM EDT

a lawn soil test from the U of Mn six years ago indicated a PH of about 6.7, should I add lime or calcium this fall? Back then the report number was 75049 and laboratory number 150605. Thank you very much.

Expert Response

It may be time to get a new soil test as numbers may change over the course of 6 years.

A pH of 6.7 is well within an acceptable range of 6 to 7 and doesn't require liming.
