I am planting a new wild garden that I have. I found a member of Rosa Wanda wishes on my burn that are going to be destroyed. When can you take down the dead ass trees. These bushes are 3 to 4 feet tall. Can I transplant them? How deep are the roots? Should I cut them back when I transplant them with certain to be a terrible job since they have thorns but free wild roses are pretty cool. Thank you for any advice. You can give me.

I have Rosa Blanca. When in full bloom, you can smell the wonderful fragrance yards away. You will find that it has a large root system that branches out as that is how they spread. Take what you can but be prepared to cut roots. It is not to be buried too deep. You will see where it is now and is the correct depth. Allow room for it to spread and form a cluister. If you are planting now, water, water, water. It needs to get established. This first winter you may want to mulch it after the ground freezes. After that it is perfectly hardy.
