I have an infestation of cicada killer wasps in my front yard. What is the best way to remove/exterminate this insect? I’ve attached a photo of a dead wasp and several nests on my driveway.

Cicada wasps look fierce but pose minimal risks to humans, as they are only interested to sting cicadas. I recommend spraying the nests in the driveway with a jet of water to deter them from rebuilding. You may need to do this several times.
Insecticidal dust is another option. However, you would have to apply the dust in close proximity to the nest, which also raises the risk of being stung.
