How do I know for sure if I have rose rosette virus on my roses?

You would need to send samples to the CSU Plant Diagnostic Lab, located at Spur in Denver. Here's the website and the submission form "Pathogen Detection and Screening": https://agsci.colostate.edu/agbio/plantclinic/

If you choose not to do testing, but suspect the virus, then it's best to remove the entire rose from the landscape and throw it in the trash.
