I moved into my mom's house and her yard is like a jungle. I'm hoping to remove most of the plants but I'd like to know what is already there. I'm in a wheelchair and can't get into the yard myself to do this.Would anyone be able to come over to help me identify what we have, what wild be advisable to keep or what I should plant that would be easier to maintain? I also need help identifying what type of ground cover or grass to plant in the parts of the yard that doesn't seem to grow much.

I’m sorry, this is an online only question service. If you can take any good photos of plants, we can try to help you ID those.

This is a statewide service and I don’t know what the practices are in individual counties, so I suggest you contact the Dakota County Master Gardener program and see if one of their volunteers can visit you. You can reach them here:
