Assistance with Review/Development of Tree Protection Ordinance #928590

Does the MSU Extension do that? As the Bloomfield Township Clerk, I am working with a team of employees on updating our current ordinance to be more protective of trees (while not running afoul of property rights). Do you all have guidance or offer assistance on such a project. I ask because I have noticed many other universities providing advice/assistance but have not yet identified a University in Michigan doing this.
