Our poplar tree lost bark last winter from deer. It left an area 4 in x 10 in with no bark coverage. Should we seal the exposed area with a tree repair product?. What product would you suggest? I am also reading that the exposed area should be cleaned with a bleach and water solution prior to sealing. Do you agree to with that?
